Do you struggle with stress and worry throughout your days? We live in such a fast-paced world that somedays it just feels hard to keep up with all the things on our never ending to-do lists. Journaling can be a way for you to release your stress and worry - to leave it all out on the pages and to feel more grounded and peaceful so you can move throughout your day with ease.
A few days ago my anxiety came crashing over me like a giant wave. When it comes out of nowhere it can feel like your breathe has been knocked out of you. Have you ever experienced that before? It was so hard to shake it off and it left me just feeling so discouraged. Then it dawned on me that I had gone 4 or 5 days without my morning routine.
Within my morning routine I set aside time to journal. Journaling is a fantastic way to release any self-doubt or worry that is floating around in your mind. You don't have to write long eloquent sentences - it doesn't need to be perfect. Just write out all the stress and worry you are struggling with.
When we let stress and worry build up inside of us we leave ourselves open and vulnerable to depression and anxiety. I'm so guilty of stuffing my stress and worry, but I've learned that journaling can be such a beautiful outlet. Take time today to write out what is on your mind. You can write it in list form, you can write it out as a prayer, or you can write it out in sentences. Write what feels best for you.

I know that mornings can be a bit of a whirlwind, you hop out of bed to hurry and get ready, you maybe grab breakfast, and you arrive at work right on time only to feel like you could crawl back into bed.
