Essential Oils for a Calming Nights Rest

Essential Oils for a Calming Nights Rest
How you end your day makes such a difference for your mood, emotions and overall well-being. Having an evening routine can help you set up for a restful nights sleep to feeling refreshed in the morning and ready to take on a new day. Adding in essential oils can provide an extra support for you as your wind down at the end of the day.

Think back on your day. Did you feel stressed, maybe snapped at someone even though you didn't mean to, or you neglected your workout, or maybe made some poor food choices? Now think back on the past couple nights - how did you sleep?

When our sleep is interrupted or it was a restless nights sleep it can be very difficult to make it through the day feeling optimistic. Next time you are winding down for the evening incorporate one or two essential oils into your nightly routine.

Lavender, Cedarwood and Peace & Calming Essential Oils have a very calming aroma to them. You can add them to your diffuser or apply topically to help you fall into a peaceful dream-state.

Sometimes falling asleep is tricky because you toss and turn or you are unable to turn off your mind. To help you create a stress-free atmosphere use oils like Stress Away, Frankincense, or Tranquil.

Other ideas for winding down at the end of the day are doing some gentle stretches, journaling, reading, or taking an epsom salt bath with your favorite calming oils.

The Benefits of Using a Gemstone Facial Roller

The Benefits of Using a Gemstone Facial Roller
Gemstone Facial Rollers are my new favorite thing to add to my morning skincare routine. They are so beautiful and do wonders for your skin! Facial rolling has been around for centuries and is just now making its way into Western Society.

You've probably heard of Jade or Rose Quartz. These are the two most popular gemstones to use in skincare. These gemstones are used to massage your face and neck muscles and it helps to assist in lymphatic drainage. It also helps with general circulation of the surrounding skin cells, which brings fresh blood and oxygen to your skin.

Using a facial roller is best during your morning skincare routine. Using it in the morning helps with an improved facial complexion, brightening skin tone, and it is a great stress reliever. The gemstone rollers that I recommend are very delicate and you will want to use a light pressure when rolling.

It's very important to wash them using a gentle and mild soap. I love to run mine under cold water before I use and that helps wake me up a little more in the mornings too.

Let's chat real quick about the different types of gemstones and how they benefit your skin and overall mood.

Don't they all sound amazing? Have fun choosing your own Gemstone Facial Roller

Diffusing Essential Oils VS. Burning Candles

Diffusing Essential Oils VS. Burning Candles

I’m pretty sure you are well aware of what essential oils are. We see them everywhere we go. You can even find them in grocery stores now. Unfortunately, not all essential oils are created equally.

When you are truly wanting to cut out the harmful products in your home and switch to cleaner products; it’s important to do your homework. If you don’t have time to do the research on what essential oils are the best, I highly recommend checking out this website to learn the importance of why you want to know exactly where those essential oils are coming from.

So, why diffuse essential oils instead of using candles in your home? Candles are highly toxic. I use to be a candle girl. I had candles all over my home and I just loved the cozy atmosphere they brought. Now, I know better and I can create that same cozy atmosphere with my diffuser and essential oils! And you will too after reading this blog post.

Candles can be full of harmful chemicals and artificial ingredients that have no place in the home. When we burn those candles the toxins find their way into your ventilation system in your home, and you and your family (pets too) are breathing in all that junk. It’s so not good for your respiratory or immune health.

The next time you are tempted to purchase a sweetly scented harsh chemical, just remember that you have access to pure essential oils. Plus, diffusing essential oils is so much more budget friendly than purchasing candles, wax melts and plug ins.

Plug in your diffuser or grab one of my favorites here and enjoy diffusing essential oils in your home that is better than any retail candle.
