I use to look at self-care as being selfish. That if I took time to read in the middle of the day, go to the dog park with my girls, or just take a break to sit in silence then I wasn't being productive and working hard. I thought I would be just wasting my time. That was such poor thinking though, wasn't it? Now before I even begin my day I start with self-care by having my intentional morning routine. And when I take my girls to the dog park, I don't feel guilty for going in the middle of the day. It's a beautiful break for all of us!

2. Make time for rest: Rest is a crucial aspect of self-care. As Christian women, we can sometimes feel guilty for taking a break or resting, but it's essential to take care of ourselves so that we can better serve Christ and others. Make time for rest in your daily routine, whether it's taking a nap, reading a book, or simply sitting in silence.
3. Prioritize healthy habits: Taking care of your physical health is also essential to your overall well-being. This includes getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and exercising regularly. These habits can help you feel more energized, focused, and less stressed.
