Let’s be honest for a second. It’s easy to pour ourselves out for others. It’s harder to pause long enough to pour back into ourselves. Especially as women in business, women who lead with their faith, serve with their hearts, and are constantly thinking about the next piece of content, the next client call, or the next strategy step. We want to be available. Present. On fire for our purpose. But somewhere along the way, we start feeling like we’re running on fumes. We may be leading others well, but we’re not always leading ourselves well. I know this because I’ve been there.
The Day I Realized I Was Leading on Empty
The Day I Realized I Was Leading on Empty
For months, I felt like I was doing everything “right” in my business. I was consistent. I was showing up. I was pouring into others. But every day around 2 or 3pm, I would crash. My brain would fog over, my energy would tank, and my motivation would vanish. I kept telling myself it was just burnout. Or stress. Or the natural fatigue that comes with having Celiac and managing my health alongside everything else. But deep down, I knew it was something more:
I had stopped taking care of the leader in me.
I had stopped taking care of the leader in me.
I was leading a community. A brand. A business.
But I wasn’t stewarding myself.
And God began to gently nudge me:
If I wanted to keep showing up for others, I needed to show up for myself first.

What Radiant Leadership Academy Taught Me

What Radiant Leadership Academy Taught Me
One of the most powerful lessons I learned during Radiant Leadership Academy was this:
You can’t lead others well if you aren’t first leading yourself. Your health, your mindset, and your spiritual life aren’t distractions from your calling—they’re the foundation of it.
That hit me hard.
It made me realize that taking care of myself wasn’t selfish - it was spiritual stewardship. If God has given me a vision, a message, and a mission to walk out…then it’s my responsibility to nurture the vessel He’s using to carry it. That means being intentional with what I put in my body. It means learning to rest without guilt. It means prioritizing energy, focus, and clarity—not just so I can do more, but so I can do what matters with a full heart.
My Shift into Wellness-Fueled Leadership
It made me realize that taking care of myself wasn’t selfish - it was spiritual stewardship. My Shift into Wellness-Fueled Leadership
That realization was the beginning of a reset.
I started using the Limitless Trio and built a simple wellness rhythm into my day—nothing complicated, just consistent.
- I start my mornings with my quiet time with the Lord and a glass of iced functional coffee (with a splash of my favorite Nut Pods creamer from Thrive Market).
- In the afternoon, I make a Watermelon Berry Hydration to avoid the 3pm slump and stay energized for the rest of the day.
Since building this rhythm into my life, I’ve noticed something I didn’t expect:
Yes, I feel better. I’m no longer crashing midday, and I actually want to work out now. But more importantly, I feel clear, grounded, and able to lead from a place of peace, not survival.

Why Your Wellness as a Leader Matters

Why Your Wellness as a Leader Matters
If you’re tired… if you’ve been white-knuckling your way through content creation, calls, launches, or motherhood… I want to gently remind you:
You matter, too.
You are not just a business owner.
You are a daughter of the King.
A woman with a message.
A leader in your home, your business, and your community.
And leaders need to be nourished - spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
You’re not meant to build burnt out.
You’re meant to build from overflow.

3 Questions to Ask Yourself Today

3 Questions to Ask Yourself Today
If you’re in a place where everything feels heavy, take a moment to reflect:
- Am I caring for the woman God created me to be, just as much as the business He called me to build?
- What would change in my business if I had the energy, clarity, and peace I’ve been craving?
- What’s one small way I can start leading myself better today?

The Bottom Line
Your wellness isn’t a luxury - it’s a leadership tool.
You don’t have to run on empty to be effective.
And the most important work you do may start not with another post or program, but with choosing to care for your own heart and health again.
