This is something that I recently have incorporated in my own career - partnering with Lord and really surrending and allowing Him to lead me. It hasn't always been this way and it's something I'm learning and choosing to be brave and step out in my faith as an online business woman. Here's a few of my tips for getting started...
1. Seek God's Guidance: Begin by seeking God's guidance through prayer. Surrender your career aspirations to Him, inviting Him to lead and direct your path. Trust that He has a plan for your life and that your work can be a means of glorifying Him. The book Your Powerful Prayers helped a TON in learning to pray more deeply and purposefully!
2. Align Your Values: Take the time to reflect on your core values and how they align with your career choices. Consider the ethical implications of your work, the impact it has on others, and whether it allows you to uphold your Christian values. When your work aligns with your values, it becomes more meaningful and fulfilling. Have you ever done a Core Values exercise? I highly recommend giving my friend Mel Wilhelm a follow as this is her lane of genius!
3. Be a Light in the Workplace: Your workplace is an opportunity to be a witness for Christ. Let your actions and attitudes reflect your faith, demonstrating integrity, kindness, and compassion. Look for ways to serve others, show genuine care, and be a positive influence in your professional interactions. Each day presents its own struggles, and we will never be perfect. But by being a light in the workplace, we can strive to reflect Christ's love and grace in our professional interactions, making a positive impact even in the midst of challenges.
4. Pursue Your God-Given Talents: Identify your God-given talents and strengths, and seek opportunities to utilize them in your career. When you work in alignment with your natural abilities, you are more likely to experience a sense of fulfillment and make a significant impact in your field.
5. Embrace Continuous Learning: Commit to lifelong learning and personal growth in your career. Seek professional development opportunities, stay updated with industry trends, and be open to acquiring new skills. This is exactly why I have partnered with Girl Power Alliance. They are a Christ-Centered personal and professional development company that pay women to grow. There is a movement that is exploding around the world called the on-demand learning industry. Sharing your knowledge with others is powerful and profitable. This new profession is yielding a BILLION dollars a day. Now you can take your part in that movement through Girl Power Alliance.

6. Find a Supportive Community: Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who share your faith and understand the challenges of navigating faith and career. Join professional organizations or Christian networking groups, just like Girl Power Alliance, where you can connect with others who can provide support, guidance, and encouragement along your journey. You are also welcome to join my free Facebook Community - Christian Women in Business Networkingwhere I am a co-admin with some other incredible women!
7. Embrace Challenges as Growth Opportunities: Challenges and setbacks are inevitable in any career. Instead of letting them discourage you, view them as opportunities for growth and character development. Trust that God can use even the most challenging situations to shape and refine you.
Finding purpose and passion in your work is an ongoing process. It requires intentionality, faith, and a willingness to align your career choices with your values. By seeking God's guidance, being a positive influence, utilizing your talents, and embracing continuous growth, you can navigate faith and career successfully. Allow your work to become a means of worship and service, making a difference in the lives of others and bringing glory to God.
