The Spring Season: Sowing Seeds and Rebuilding Momentum in Business
In the life of a faith-driven business, not every season is about pushing harder or chasing bigger goals. Some seasons are quieter, slower, and more sacred - designed by God to realign our hearts and refresh our purpose. And then, almost without warning, a fresh stirring begins. A gentle invitation to move forward again. In today's post, we’re stepping into one of the sweetest seasons of all: the season of new beginnings.

After a long winter of rest, reflection, or wrestling, there’s a subtle shift that begins to stir. You may not even notice it at first.

A new idea.
A desire to create again.
A sense that maybe… just maybe… God is inviting you to step forward.

This is Spring. A tender but powerful season in business. A time of sowing seeds, building relationships, and following the fresh nudges of the Holy Spirit as you rebuild momentum with peace and intention.

What Is the Spring Season?
In Your Beautiful Purpose, Susie Larson describes Spring as a time of new beginnings. In business, it often looks like:

  • Receiving fresh clarity after a hard or quiet season
  • Developing new ideas, offers, or projects
  • Rebuilding consistency and connection with your audience
  • Nurturing relationships and trust
  • Beginning to show up again—not from hustle, but from a place of rest
Spring is all about sowing - not harvesting. It’s not about getting instant results. It’s about planting what God has put on your heart and trusting that, in due season, it will grow.

What Spring Has Looked Like in My Business
After a winter of slowing down, God began to stir something in me: a desire to reconnect, rebuild, and re-engage with my audience, not with pressure, but with purpose. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in Spring seasons is that momentum doesn’t have to be rushed. It can be built one meaningful connection at a time.

This is the season where I’ve focused on the like, know, trust factor - which I talk about more in another blog post HERE. Rather than going full speed ahead with big launches or major goals, I’ve learned to focus on nurturing relationships. Showing up consistently. Providing value. Serving from a place of overflow. And that, over time, is what builds a solid, sustainable business.

Spring Is About Showing Up Small
Sometimes we skip over Spring because it feels slow. It’s not glamorous. It’s not the “big win” season. But it’s where all the most meaningful, lasting work begins. You don’t need a massive strategy shift in Spring. You just need to keep showing up.

These are the seeds. And with time, consistency, and God’s guidance, they will grow.

Signs You Might Be in a Spring Season
  • You’re starting to feel energized again after a dry or quiet time
  • You have new ideas, but don’t yet see clear results
  • You’re reestablishing routines and content rhythms
  • You’re reconnecting with your audience and building trust again
  • You’re taking small, intentional steps forward - without striving
How to Embrace the Spring Season
  • Be faithful in the small. You may not see instant fruit, but your seeds matter.
  • Focus on connection. Serve your audience. Show up with consistency and value.
  • Let go of perfection. Just begin. God will guide and grow what you plant.
  • Celebrate the progress. Even if it’s tiny, it’s still movement - and that’s something to be grateful for.

Reflection Questions
1. What seeds is God asking me to plant in this season of business?
2. Where can I be more consistent in showing up and building trust?
3. Am I willing to move forward slowly, faithfully, and led by peace

Get to Know Jenna!

Hello and welcome - I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Jenna, a Christian woman in business navigating celiac life, cozy routines, and the kind of leadership that begins with meeting with the Lord. For years, I tried building my business the world’s way and found myself tired, scattered, and striving. Everything shifted when I slowed down, invited God back into my work, and learned to build my life and business from a place of peace instead of pressure.

Now I share gentle, faith-led routines for women who are craving clarity, simplicity, and a more intentional way to live and lead. Around here, you’ll find journaling tips and prompts, cozy routines, quiet-time ideas, tips for taking care of yourself as a leader, and encouragement for creating a life that feels sustainable and aligned with who God is shaping you to become. I offer courses and resources for Christian women in business, but they flow from a place of rest, overflow, and deep connection with the Lord.

And because I believe our everyday life matters just as much as our leadership, you’ll also find pieces of my world woven throughout this space - I’m a dog mom to two sweet English Springer Spaniels, Zoey and Lily, who join me on daily walks and summer boating days with my husband. I love reading cozy mysteries, strolling the gluten-free aisles to discover new finds, learning and growing through personal development, and baking gluten-free treats in the kitchen. My heart is to help you slow down, hear God’s voice again, and build a life, and if you choose, a business that reflects His peace, purpose, and presence.
