Have you ever looked around at everyone else’s success and wondered, “What am I doing wrong?”
Maybe you’ve been showing up. Creating content. Praying for a breakthrough. But deep down, you’re just tired.
Tired of striving.
Tired of trying.
Tired of wondering if you missed something, or if God has simply gone quiet.
Tired of striving.
Tired of trying.
Tired of wondering if you missed something, or if God has simply gone quiet.
If that’s where you are right now, I want to tell you: You’re not doing anything wrong. You might just be in a different season of business. This blog series was born from a mix of personal experience, deep reflection, and the grace of God showing up through powerful resources, like Tired of Trying by Ashley Morgan Jackson, Your Beautiful Purpose by Susie Larson, and my time in Level 2 of the Radiant Leadership Academy.

God began to show me that our businesses move in seasons, just like nature, just like life, just like our walk with Him.
We aren’t meant to sprint endlessly. We’re meant to sow, rest, wrestle, grow, and harvest in rhythm with Him.
How the Wrestle Season Shifted Everything for Me
How the Wrestle Season Shifted Everything for Me
Earlier this year, during a 31-day break from social media, I read Tired of Trying - and it hit me deep. It gave language to something I didn’t know I was walking through: the Wrestle Season.
I was questioning everything -
Was I doing the right things in business?
Was I aligned with what God was calling me to do?
Was it time to pivot?
Or… was it time to close the door altogether?
Was I doing the right things in business?
Was I aligned with what God was calling me to do?
Was it time to pivot?
Or… was it time to close the door altogether?
I felt like I was pouring so much in, but the results weren’t coming. I was exhausted, discouraged, and deeply unsure.
But through the pages of that book and the quiet moments away from the noise, God gently reminded me:
The outcomes are not my responsibility. They’re His.

The outcomes are not my responsibility. They’re His.

My job is to stay close. To walk in obedience. To shine light in the dark corners of the internet. And to trust that He is working, even when I can’t see it yet. That Wrestle Season changed my heart. And it led me into a new understanding of what it means to walk with God through every season, not just the ones that feel productive.
A Look at the Seasons of Business
A Look at the Seasons of Business
In this series, I’ll be unpacking five distinct seasons your business will go through - sometimes in order, sometimes cycling back again, always with purpose. Each one is rooted in biblical truth, real-life rhythms, and a deep trust in God’s timing.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead:
1. The Wrestle Season
Inspired by Tired of Trying, this is the in-between season. When you’re doing all the “right” things but feel stuck, dry, or unseen. It’s where you question everything and discover that God is still working in the waiting.
2. Winter
2. Winter
A season of stillness and sacred rest. It’s not about quitting - it’s about slowing down. God may be calling you to pull back, reflect, and focus more on being than doing. This is where deep healing and preparation take place.
3. Spring
3. Spring
A time for sowing seeds. Spring is where fresh vision comes in, new connections are formed, and you begin to build the “like, know, trust” factor. There’s energy, but it’s still tender. You’re planting in faith.
4. Summer
4. Summer
A season of momentum and growth. This is where your business may feel full, exciting, and fruitful, but also requires tending, pruning, and staying aligned. (We’ll unpack this more in the dedicated post.)
5. Fall
5. Fall
The beautiful harvest. This is when the seeds you’ve sown begin to produce fruit. But even harvest requires stewardship. It’s also a time of reflection, celebration, and preparing for what’s next.
Each season has its beauty. Each one has its own stretching. And each one is necessary for the full picture of what God wants to do in and through your business.

You’re Not Behind - You’re in a Season

You’re Not Behind - You’re in a Season
If you’ve been comparing your timeline to someone else’s, this is your reminder:
You’re not behind.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just in a season.
You’re not behind.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just in a season.
And that season might be doing more in you than you can yet see on the outside. I’ve lived through Winter. I’ve walked through Wrestle. I’ve planted in Spring, longed for Summer, and celebrated Fall. And I’ve learned that God is just as present in the pauses as He is in the momentum.

Reflection Questions

Reflection Questions
Take a few moments to journal or pray through these:
- What season of business am I currently in—and how does it feel emotionally, spiritually, and practically?
- Where might God be inviting me to slow down, wrestle with Him, or step into something new?
- What expectations do I need to release in order to embrace where I am with peace and purpose?
