And for me, that was unusual. Facebook has been the platform where I’ve had the most success in my business, the place where I’ve built relationships, grown my audience, and connected with like-minded entrepreneurs. But lately? Every time I logged in, I felt annoyed, uninspired, and frustrated by what I was seeing.

So many entrepreneurs were just so loud about selling, yet there was no value. Every post seemed to scream, "Buy my stuff!" "Join my team!" "I made 30K in three months—so can you!" It was all about them, and I couldn’t find any real connection in it.

I love engaging and making genuine connections on Facebook, but I started to notice something: It had become harder to engage because everything felt transactional. And it wasn’t just the posts - when I’d reach out to someone in Messenger with the intention of starting a real conversation, the first thing they’d do was pitch me their offer. No relationship-building. No genuine interest. Just straight to the sale. Why do people think this is okay? It made me want to ignore the message and move on.
